Peer Review

What Are We Looking For?

Faculty or doctoral students with experience teaching introductory courses

We are seeking peer reviewers for the Philosophy of Mind book in the Introduction to Philosophy Open Textbook series, ed. by Christina Hendricks and supported by the Rebus Community. The book is an open-source textbook aimed at first-year undergraduates.

We are currently looking for reviewers for the following parts (descriptions available):

  • Philosophy of Mind

Each part contains approximately five to ten 3000 word chapters. See here for more information on the chapters included in each part.

If interested, please let us know in the discussion below, and send a CV, including details of your teaching and research experience, to the lead editor Christina Hendricks (christina.hendricks@ubc.ca) and copy Apurva Ashok (apurva@rebus.foundation).

We encourage interest and contributions from members of underrepresented groups within the philosophical community.

Once selected, we request reviewers to read through our review guide, linked below, which contains some guiding questions.
