    The agenda is as follows:

    • Updates & any questions from all projects

    • Writing a call for contributors

    • Examples: Author guide / review guide / editor job description

    • Spreading the word

    • Tracking sheets

  2. Hi again everyone - after having to cancel last week, we’re trying again for 12pm ET, Wednesday July 25 (tomorrow, as of writing this). We will pick up the same agenda as above. If anyone needs the link again, send me a quick email :)

  3. Hi team! As I mentioned on our last call, I’ve spent a bit of time thinking about what we should talk about next time we meet, and have decided on leadership & admin teams. Some of you are already set up in this regard, so it could also be chance for you to share how the experience is going for you, and offer suggestions to those earlier on in the process.

    We’ll also share a couple of new resources - building a leadership team and a contributor MOU - and allow some time to loop back on the other topics we’ve covered so far (project scoping, setting up activities & discussion, calls for contributors) and give you all a chance to ask any questions or comment on how those pieces are working for you so far.

    Agenda as follows:
    - Project updates & any questions
    - Leadership/admin teams
    - Contributor MOU
    - Loop back on past topics
    - Final questions & suggestions for future topics

    In terms of timing, we’ll go back to a Friday this time, and I think we should alternate Wednesdays and Fridays going forward. So our call will be 12pm ET / 9am PT on Friday, August 10th. Same link as usual, shoot me an email if you need a reminder.

  4. I just posted an idea I had for bringing people in … and … I’m on target for being sort of kinda like maybe almost ready to start “calling out” to people THurs/Fri. with a little infographic (mostly info, not much graphics!) and update of the description.

    So, hopefully by the 10 I will have had some responses! Getting ready to sail the flag up the flagpole to see who salutes…

  5. Hi all - I've now sorted out my travel plans and should be fine for our regular time of 12pm ET / 11am CT / 9am PT next Friday, September 7th. I'll be joining you from the offices of Creative Commons USA for a change!

    As I mentioned in my last email, we'll change pace for this one and focus back on the platform for a bit, rather than a new part of the process. We released a new version of the software this week, so I'll go through the new changes & features with you - a lot in there has come in response to your experiences, so thank you again!

    Here's the agenda:

    - Project checkin/updates & questions

    - Run-through of latest release

    - Questions & comments about your experience of the platform so far

    - Building a Team overview (mentioned this briefly on the last call but think it's worth spending sometime with)
